Noted historian Romila Thapar talks about the CAA-NPR-NRC and the need for a rational refugee policy where any persecuted person from a neighbouring state can seek asylum, no matter what their religion. She says the NPR-NRC processes will give rise to more corruption, and also talks about how the role of the police shows that we’re turning into a surveillance state.
