On April 13, 1919, the British government indiscriminately shot at the innocent protesters agitating against the Rowlatt Act in Amritsar, Punjab. Hundreds of people lost their lives in this shooting. Veteran historian Irfan Habib talks about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre during an event organised by SAHMAT to mark 100 years of this massacre.
